CHOOSE LIFE
An atomic war and holocaust
is prepared for Israel. Only God’s protection will save us.
But God will save us only if we fulfill the requirements of our Covenant. Our fathers
and grand fathers and forefathers failed to do this and our history demonstrated the awful punishments of the Covenant. For
those men who are not afraid of the inconvenient truth that alone will save Israel, read through the articles in Torah
Universe and learn how you can choose life (Deuteronomy 30:19) and save our nation.
Will you remain complacent and suffer the consequences as they did ?
Will
you join the millions who pray like pigeons in a caffeinated frenzy while living lives according to principles foreign to
the Torah ?
Or will you rise to the occasion and become the Jews whom God
can finally be pleased to bless with the victory – a victory that demonstrates His great pleasure with us so that the
world will fear us (Deuteronomy 28:10) ? It is only by truly living God's Torah as God gave it to Moses, that we and the
world will have peace.
The great rabbi, Abraham Joshua Heschel has some
pointers for serious men. He said that to have faith is to bring back the Shechina ( God's Holy Spirit ). Belief is one
thing. "Faith is sensitivity, understanding, engagement and attachment; not something achieved once and for all, but
an attitude one may gain and loose." In his writings he says that God is of no importance unless He is of supreme importance.
In discussing Psalm 119:19, "I am a stranger on earth"; Heschel interprets the phrase as describing God who is a
Stranger in the world because mankind does not incorporate His Spirit in human activities. Therefore, the Shechina, the Presence
of God is in exile. Our task is to bring God into the world, into our lives. To worship - real worship - is to expand
the Presence of God in the world. To have faith is to reveal what is concealed. Heschel says that to sense the presence of
God in the Bible, one must learn to be present to God in the Bible.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. YOU CAN BE RIGHTEOUS AND PROVIDE GOD WITH THE REASON HE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR SO HE CAN
BLESS US COMPLETELY. OR YOU CAN PREPARE FOR CERTAIN DOOM !
This is not much of choice, but we’ve had it before and chosen death. Let’s
conquer the negative impulse in us and get straight with God – starting immediately ! God has always been of ultimate
importance to us. Let us show HIM by our actions that we are the people He intends for us to be - NOW!
Reading and complying with Torat Moshe, i.e., the 5 Books of Moses, will put us on the Path
God intends us to take. We will be creating the ethical, moral and spiritual context for all of life's activities. This
is the mission of Israel which God hinted at with the verse in the Book of Noah in Genesis which states that Japhet will
dwell in the tent of Shem.
