SAVING ISRAEL
How can Israel save itself from the Biblical prophecies of destruction ?
"And it
shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord,
Two parts therein shall be cut off and die;
But the
third shall be left therein,
And I will bring the third part through the fire,
And will refine them as silver is
refined,
And will try them as gold is tried;
They shall call on My Name,
And I will answer them;
I will
say; 'It is My people',
And they shall say: 'The Lord is my God.'
(Zechariah 13 : 8,9)
Is it possible that Israel will actually endure another Holocaust ?
Apparently another Holocaust is coming.
The threats from Israel's enemies are known. Iran, Hizbullah, Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, U.S. President
Obama and his cronies and puppeteers, and the entire UN are promoting an environment which contradicts Israel's normal
defensive measures. And by their weakness, America and the entire UN encourage Islamic war fever. In addition, President Obama
has been supporting all Islamic governments which are openly hostile to Israel and toppling those with whom Israel has had
some kind of stable relationship.
Worse, Israel's leadership refuses to confess to our people the full extent
of the dangers we face.
And worst of all are the failures of Israel's leaders to fully prepare for the imminent
war; to eliminate the terrorists once and for all (without regard for collateral damage); to protect and re-arm the settlers
in Judea and Samaria; to assure the utmost security for the nation without regard to any political agenda.
WHAT CAN WE DO TO SAVE OUR BROTHERS & SISTERS ?
All of our rabbis must utilize the full extent of
their influence to convince our leaders and people that God always has the final call on our destiny.
God can save us
all if we EARN His protection.
Our rabbis must confess the obvious, i.e., that if our people have endured a Holocaust
and have a history of suffering violence, pogroms and other attacks, that God has allowed these to happen because we have
FAILED to earn His protection. And if yet another Holocaust is prophesied and already looks imminent, then we, God's Chosen
People, are still not fulfilling our obligations.
Our rabbis must exhort our people to open their hearts to their
brothers and sisters and to deal with each other in brotherly love as God has commanded in Leviticus 19 : 18. We must enter
this dimension of brotherhood in all of our endeavors if we hope to earn God's protection.
Our rabbis must
command our political and military leaders with ABSOLUTE CERTITUDE, that they must act immediately to remember our Brit and
to remind our people - as Joshua did during the conquest of our homeland - of our Brit and especially that brotherhood in
all that we do is a military imperative !!! They must lead the vanguard in demanding brutal bombardments of any area in Gaza
from which terrorists launch missile attacks.
We are a nation saved
by our God. No other council has ever helped us, so why not act with our God ?
Our rabbis must instruct our military
leaders to defend our people, and that they must prepare for sudden preemptive attacks to destroy the military capability
of those enemies who have been threatening to destroy us and those enemies who will join them. Chapter 20 of Deuteronomy Torah
is clear about waging war. Our leaders must obey God and not the United Nations, America and certainly not the suicidal left
wing !!!
Our rabbis must remember that Joshua was closest to Moshe Rabbenu and if anyone knew of any
laws given orally to Moshe; Joshua would have complied with them. Nevertheless, Joshua reminded our people at war that God
fought for us. Joshua said to our people then, "And the Lord your God, He shall thrust them out from before you, and
drive them from out of your sight; and you shall possess their land, as the Lord your God spoke unto you. Therefore be you
very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to
the right hand or to the left; that ye come not among the these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention
of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor worship them; but cleave unto the Lord your
God, as ye have done unto this day; wherefore the Lord hath driven out from before you great nations and mighty; but as for
you, no man hath stood against you unto this day. One man of you hath chased a thousand; FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD, HE IT IS THAT
FOUGHT FOR YOU, AS HE SPOKE UNTO YOU" ( Joshua 23 : 5-10 ).
During this Sukkot festival we must marshall
all the potential of our souls to free ourselves from the egotism that has separated us from our God and from our brothers
and sisters, the entire people of Israel. And with this freedom and renewed vision and vitality we must reinvent ourselves
as the holy nation whose Lord is the God of our Forefathers who reveals Himself in the Torah which He gave to Moshe and our
people in Sinai.
I believe that if we transform ourselves by beginning to fulfill God's written Torah and
especially by practicing brotherly love in all of our business and other affairs that we can earn God's protection and
have victory over all of our enemies. May the Lord our God look graciously upon His inheritance and stretch out both
of His hands to us and allow us to return to Him with mercy and with comfort. May He fill us with His Spirit so that we see
that we are all brothers and sisters, the children of the Living God and whose truth is our holy mission and dearest occupation.
May He fill our fighting men with inspiration and power and the feeling of certitude that our God is fighting with us on all
battlefields, in the air, on the sea and under it. And with His Spirit and with Him, may we destroy all of our enemies
and all Amalekites in all their manifestations as the God of Avraham, Yitzhak and Yisrael commands us to do. And by
our victories may all of mankind be freed from fear of evil people and freed from ignorance so that they too can find their
way into our Creator's good graces.
