FAITH VERSES CHANCE AS OPPOSED TO REINCARNATION IN EXPLAINING REWARD AND PUNISHMENT

In the preredeemed material world, chance prevails based on the dynamics of the degree of proclivity and the degree of virtue f the inhabitants of the environment. The allegation regarding reincarnation is that if a baby is born in a poor family and it’s hand is amputated to make it a more successful beggar, that this is a consequence of that soul’s evils perpetrated in a past life. Those who subscribe to this worldview frequently believe that any other explanation is precluded if in fact God is a just God.

It is my perspective that two domains prevail in the current preredeemed world. The realm of faith is one whose inhabitants strive to know and comply with the will of the Creator. Their performance earns them the various blessings of security, shelter, food, good health, prosperity, victory, etc., etc. 

The realm of chance is one where ignorance, non-compliance and the consequences of various degrees of human proclivity impact the lives of the inhabitants. The rabbis, regarded by the majority of the nation of Israel as venerable sages, believe that amongst the traits shared by the similarly enlightened, is the ability to hear the music of the spheres. I disagree with this contention. I believe that enlightened souls hear the screaming of the souls condemned to purgatory in the world or dimension of chance. I believe that if enough people believe as I believe that the flood of human emotion and intention would inspire our Creator to assist us in embarking on a crusade to free the inhabitants of the dimension of chance from the horrible consequences of their ignorance, non-compliance and indulgence in the proclivities which reduce their quality of life to the unthinkable. I believe that while the sages of Israel contemplate the music of the spheres that they sow the seeds of a universal Jewish lifestyle disassociated from the sufferings of the bulk of humankind. Moreover, it is my belief that this disconnect from the sufferings of mankind deludes the nation into believing the false mythology that they are not accountable for the existence and proliferation and expansion of this purgatory in which the bulk of God’s creatures suffer and die !

In conclusion, it is my belief that Israel was created to demonstrate that compliance with God’s will, as it is written the written Torah, is mankind’s path to blessings, i.e., the world of faith in which mankind can enjoy God’s blessings, including freedom from want. And it is Israel’s Divinely ordained mission ( Genesis 9:27) to establish the moral and spiritual context for the performance of each and every human endeavor. And finally, it is Israel’s failure to carry out its mission and live up to its purpose which are the underlying causes of anti-Semitism and the concomitant upheavals which have terrorized, overturned and annihilated Jews for thousand of years.  

Summary

It is Israel, which is responsible for and accountable for freeing mankind from the horrors of the world of chance. And this is the sole path for Israel to save itself from the next holocaust which has been ripening since it was sown by the survivors – in Israel and the Diaspora –of the last one perpetrated by the nazis with the complicity of the entire world!
